A Poets Light
words to move the heart
words to stop you still
words to make you cry
words that help you heal
words that rally the spirit
words express the soul
even if we used all the words
words couldn't express it all
words to convey meaning
words to pass a thought
words can break swords
words that make you feel
words can be of life
words of sentence death
words cannot express
whats the words for eye
words for things like love
and all those wonderful things
let new words abound
for every lovely thing
write then poet
and heal humanities plight
poet you have the power
you have the write
so right then poet
and heal our plight
so write then poet
and let your words be light
