If you're talking about "writer's block", G, I don't believe in it. Sometimes your bucket is full and sometimes it's empty...that's all.

Hi Gershon, "A Poet's Lament" captures the despair and isolation of a poet struggling with writer's block, where the absence of inspiration and recognition has driven the poet to a point of desperation. The poet's final hope lies in a deeply personal connection, hinting at salvation through understanding and acceptance from a singular, attentive reader. I would add help also from one's wise 'Inner Poet.' Cheers, Don

Very enjoyable write, but many poets not often writing, we throw in our lines, but seems sometimes nobody is biting, oh well, lets hope the next write will strike like a bolt of lightening, but i like all your poems find them enlightening. Hugs, blessings. Jennifer.
