A Poet Pleas For Words
Like a child trying to stand, to be a poet
One needs a vocabulary to rise!
There are words I don't care about
Others, that just don't dance.
Words that absent of meaning!
I desire, only words so passionate,
They raise souls to the ceiling.
Words that bring on buckets of tears or
Conversely my biggest fears.
Especially ...those that make my heart go:
Bumperty- bump, bumpety bump.
Words that are anything but dead!
Words that move people to act!
I struggle with the snacks of grand imagery.
Trying to be cute~ is just not my suite.
Oh, my muse, free me to be real!
No prize should I wish!
Just bless me to touch the soul of another!
Whisper to me please, the magical words to
utter!
