Before the virus came My family and I would Go to Italian Restaurant My favourite entree Is always mussels Only as an entree On special occasions This dish is served in different ways My choice cooked in white wine Or in an oyster sauce Either way its served I knew I will enjoy

This one takes me back some thirty years or so to a popular place called Bertha's in Baltimore. It was one of places I could get in and get served when I was twenty. Berthas is known for their mussels.

Darlene - I love mussels cooked in white wine, especially after harvesting them off the long lines that dangle in the ocean, this poem makes me yearn for a large portion with a glass of wine! David

Sounds very exotic and crunchy though if it is raw I could never try it, never it nor sushi. Give me it roasted or fried I would eat it. So i enjoyed your delicious sounding poem it does seem you find it delicious. Kudos.

I like shrimp too. Actually, there is a good shrimp dip. Simple. Just mixing cream cheese with shrimp cocktail and people love it :)

Is the restaurant reopened? It is so sad to me how only the big "chains" like McDonalds or Walmart are surviving this. Seems like a way to cut down small businesses and bolster up the already rich ones. I enjoyed your poem.

Hello Andrea,No the restaurants are not opened. Only for take out. Well at least we have these restaurants for take out. In the malls the Subway,New York Fries,Tim Horton's etc are opened. We can eat in the mall now. Hugs Darlene
