A Place Infinite
and in my dream I am in a bizarre, foreign place
a place of infinite shades of green
veiled in haze-
and I, a striking, ravishing exotic being
with enchanting strange butterflies and birds-
I am lost in a sea of lush, dripping foliage
where daggers of heat pierce my skin . . .
I belong in this steamy, tropical forest
in this deep-colored and green stained exotic land
far-off and distant, where all is enticing
and mysterious wildflowers grow-
above me the tree canopy is a dazzling jet blue sky
hidden, birds sing melodic songs . . .
here in is a hypnotic peace, untamed
and apart
and all I need do- is close my eyes
