A Place Filled With Emptiness

A PLACE FILLED WITH EMPTINESS

This place is seen empty
Yet full of greed and corruption
Though we still have the meek
But when will we be free

Their colours represent peace
Yet they will not stop the bombs
Concentrated are the colours of food
But expensive is the cheapest food

They dress radiantly
Yet none of them can radiate justice
Many are the down trodden
Still they’ll keep trampling

Their fight for freedom was peaceful
See, we are free to suffer
Thought I could return the clock
Oh! Our cloak is torn now

They protect their image
Yet they crush the mirror of conscience
Rebranding is their deadly road of deceit
Look! Folly is their case.
