A Piece of Peace
I want my share, of which is mine
I ask of it, but not to pay a cent,
But I ask of which is my right.
A piece of peace Sir,
That should be mine.
Does it take violence, discrimination, hatred or death?
To get a piece of peace, or is it an acquired treat?
Stop I say!
Many of us are already hurt.
Let's all work together to create this peace.
It is for both you and me,
For peace has no colour or shame, but it can be attained
A piece of peace which we desire.
If we all work together piece by piece, day by day,
We can bring about peace as we say!
