"Cake let them eat", she said
When they'd no bread

Due to her callousness,

French mob decided then
"Off with her head"

Spot on rhythmically Jo, a great title and cleverly phrased content. I enjoyed this.

Nice one but not so nice for the cake eater. She couldn’t have her cake and eat it too.

Great write. You should participate. It seems perfect to me to the best of my knowledge, but must admit I am not confident myself. Wrote first time for contest.
