A Phantom In the Night

A button taken from a sleeve
The curse muttered in the silent night
tears and blood shed for the memories
A phantom in the night

A monster of the mind
Eating away on our shells
The shells of solidity that shelter our love
Destroying what bravery we may have had
replacing remaking it with fear

A love destroyed
The curse revoked
tears shed in the dark
suicide thought s crept
death brought forth by fear
alone buried by the shame the waited us down

A curse muttered in the silent night
From hell a phantom in the night
A cursed object thrown into time
waiting to awaken its master
a phantom in the night
