A Penny For Your Thoughts

May I kiss you in the dark?
May I fondle your lovely heart
If your mind would kiss my soul
If you cared, I would hold you so

I am discarded, this I see
I am yesterdays shattered debris
You smile and tossed me away like a penny
I hoped inside, I could purchase your thoughts

In the dark, I kiss my dreams
My pockets bear, of material grief
For I have nothing, nothing at all to offer
If in my heart, I don’t have you

Don't force yourself especially if you have exerted efforts to let that someone know your intentions.. Let it go no matter how painful it is.. For every ounce of letting go comes a brighter hope for something..
