A Path Prepared

I walk now down a path prepared
From the One who remade my soul
His only Son He did not spare
I seek His will to find my role

From the One who remade my soul
I find tools that are forever
I seek His will to find my role
A life with Him I will tether

I find tools that are forever
For works that last the test of time
A life with Him I will tether
Even if it has toil and grime

For works that last the test of time
Have a value that is untold
Even if it has toil and grime
It leaves behind what others hold

Having a value that's untold
His only Son He did not spare
It leaves behind what others hold
I walk now down a path prepared
