A Passing of Clouds

Mostly it’s the shadows
prancing across the fields
in dalliance with the daisies
hopscotching about the buildings
shapeshifting amid the trees
playing hide and seek with the sun
dancing with shoeless children 
that make me marvel
at the antics
of each passing cloud
