A Parent's Karma
Mothers, fathers
There is something you must learn
I doubt that your parents will tell you
Their parents never told them
And it goes back through time
The children you love
The ones you treasure with all your heart
They are demons spawned to punish you
You don't know that they can communicate
Without words or paper
They use their minds
So you will not know what they are doing
Until it is beyond too late
And you find your child painted some ungodly color
You may find your shoes filled with water
You may find the dog with shaved places
Or they may just sit quietly
Not behaving or misbehaving
They will just sit perfectly still
Planning what to do the next time you go out
You will never know
Until it is beyond too late
Just remember when it happens
You did the same to your parents
And they did the same to theirs
Following a trend that goes back
All the way to Adam and Eve and their children
However, when you are cleaning up their newest mess
Remember two things
Your parents placed the curse on youi
Because you made their life a living hell
And remember the most important thing of all
Karma is a *****
And someday you kids will learn that too
If you let them live long enough
