A Pancake
people tell me
can't you see
we're not
Shakespeare
our lives are not
being played
in the round
but flat
all the world
is a stage
all the people
are players
then i watch
my neighbor's cat
thinking if the world
we're truly flat
everything
would have
been pawed
off the edge
