A Night Under the Moonlight

Under the moonlight
As I lied down on the empty terrace
The cold and freezing floor
The cool shivering night
A deep breathe I took
Chain of thoughts that gripped me in them
From the beginning till the end
All the memories harsh and good
Quiet and calm breeze that blew
My hairs that tangled my eyes
Swept away all my thoughts
When I glanced at the beautiful moon
Its colour that was new
Not white but a sprinkle of orange light
Oh soo beautiful night I smiled
Kept on staring the enchanting beauty of nature
Till my eyes gave up their strength
And I fell asleep...

Pratidhwani, it's amazing to breath your poem today. Even though the write was cold at first glance, I melted away from the beauty and trance you found yourself in. Good night to you dear imagery. A perfect 7 write.... Linda
