A New Year Sonnet
Sparks fly glittering in night sky,
A joyful new year to rejoice!
Inviting scent of yummy pie,
Say loud “Cheers!” for a brand new life.
Puffed smiles whining and make loud noise,
But does not make any wild strife.
All sweaty goodies on table
Adds sweet and spice for the new time
Another moment to label,
Close eyes and make resolution
As time takes our voyage to lime
Next year is a celebration!
Forget pain and whisper goodbye.
Strong beginning that builds gable.
