Sigfrido Bobonis Poet Free verse

A New World

We started out looking for something
Not thinking where this road may take us
Now that our paths have merged
We can finally finish what we have started
A life that we never thought we’d live
A world we never thought we’d see
Our paths have taken us somewhere 
We could never be on our own
And all the obstacles that once stood in our way
Have been cleared for us to follow this path
So now we can follow this one life until the very end
