A New Day Comes To Be

A champagne sky
peeks through the mist
This weary morning
lightly kissed
With thoughts of you
my heart has missed
A new day
comes to be

As clouds now fade
to scenes of blue
Reflecting in
the morning dew
My eyes still long 
that wondrous view
When you are
who I see
