A New Day

The sun peeped over the horizon

Surveying yet another new dawn

The new dew hung heavily on the strings of green grass

Glistening like diamonds in a sea of green

Birds merrily chirping harmoniously

And the leaves spread out from their branches

To catch the glowing suns rays

The flowers awoke to the warmth

Emitting sweet aromatic scents

The sun smiled as the clouds floated by

Casting shadows on the land

Drawing pictures on the ground below

As the day drew to it's end

The sun receded knowing it will be back the next day
