She sat, caressing her tiny gold cross. Then, a swift bullet, and into heaven, With Angel’s wings, she had crossed. Her Easter Bunny, does not know yet, That she won’t hold him again, so he Sleeps in peace and does not fret. Her precious dolls, sit in her buggy. Totally unaware, they will never be hugged. This sad afternoon, by their little mommy. Her parents’ hearts torn to shreds. They embrace and weep, oh,my God! Our sweetest angel, lost, forever dead. Then her Kitty, whom she named, Jello. Leaps on their laps, purring and soft. Even his warmth, cannot make them mellow. Easter with the Lord, her very first one! And people ready to care for her. Au Revoir, your sparkling wings,in the sun! 3/29/2023

What a sad poem. I would hate to lose a child. The parent is suppose to go first, not the other way around.

The news is not covering this story in depth. (((( Meaning, the courage of the students, teachers and police going in with no body armor. People do lose children from illness,absolutely .America has guards for parking lots but none for children. I-know principals who will not install metal detectors. This is not 1945, and the bodies of children keep piling up. Out rageoous! I really no longer believe people care. Plants are honored here far more than human life.even individual freedom means nothing.that’s sad. The evil go free. The best in the USA are jailed, who hurt no one. Pangiexx

Hi Linda!this is what our society gets. Support insanity? Sure we do. All kinds Drag shows in grade schools?Children have to be watched and monitored. Her records are being kept secret. Why! It might prevent another place. A sin for trans Gs today demanding their rights. Are you kidding me ZERO respect for the three teachers or three children. Answer,,,insanity, drugs, vengeance, no God, they do not think like you. There’s nothing to understand, they are dead,in their soul. We can kill each other’s souls by turning our backs, especially on good friends here and drowning in a sea of poetic self serving vanity. Yes some murder…but with no guns. Thanks, Stephan..events when innocents are taken, deeply effects, me! The worst part is the devaluation of a Christian or a Jew!…as a human being.Cracked people go to churches and synagogues and do away with worshippers. God, moral, law, civil law, meaningless? I think so. Not to mention the police gunned down in cold blood. Some left wing loon suggested …we have no police at all! Thank you for the visit. Panagiota xo

Bob, being a parent yourself, I know this touched you as well..bless us to do whatever we can, to not sit by….as the children in schools are not grown up to be Woke Agents. I read about the police heroism that deserves a poem, too.. and thank you for your kind words. Pangie xo
