A Mother's Dilemma
Life isn't what it always seem to be
The hardship the commitment and the diversity
Can turn a boy into a man and a man into a monster
Choices to be made regrets of a mother who has seen things a bit too late
Thinking should she relocate or have faith
What power can she demonstrate
No father around to have a manly talk with her son
Wanting to know why did he take up a gun
Who was the moon that blocked his sun
A child's cry could be far from understanding
A mother words could be heart broken
Especially when its not properly spoken
A token of friendship is all we need
To stray from the path our family had seen
Hard work is what a mother think is right
But affection is what a child have in sight
So they turn to violence to maintain they silence
Skipping school and smoking weed is what they call living
For a delinquent in time it'll be they misgivings
And for a mother in the end it'll be a black cloud endless tears and a dress that would be full of regrets for centuries
