God above has given us this special gift.
A mother who keeps us from going adrift.
The sound of her voice can take away our tears.
A mother is also the one that hears our fears.
She seems to have that gift to calm and heal.
A mother really does know how you feel.
Sometimes it is hard to hold on to life’s rope.
A mother teaches you how to cope.
She tells you to get on your knees every day.
A mother teaches you how to pray.
Her words are with us when we are apart.
A mother loves with a tender heart.
I hold you dear and you have that heavenly touch.
I just want you to know I love you very much.
