A Moment of Epiphany

People forgive for different reasons 
forgiveness arrives only in due season 
Sometimes it is released despite our desires   
for it is the only way to calm, the raging of the heart;  
There are a million reasons why people choose to forgive others 
sometimes it is to move forward in life 
and other times, it is a wave of emotion seizing and unleashing 
our  soul, during a moment of Epiphany ...
Forgiveness unlooses the knot of unhealthy anger 
and helps to repair a relationship, 
As Gandhi once said, " the weak can never forgive " 
it takes a strong person to be able to forgive,  
despite that fact that they cannot forget.
