A Moment

A Moment

The strangest things fill your head

Of stars and moonbeams that drive the soul

The way the sun shines upon the water

I know of these things, through you

Because of you, in your eyes

A world hidden, yet shared

Future and past drift by as clouds

A beginning is formed in a moment shared

Thoughtful lines. I like the poem. It reminds me of an old friend Jesus Maria ciganda. Your style makes me remember Lorca. Thank you for sharing.

Sounds like an eccentric bastard! Just kidding! Sounds like you are two peas in a pod!

Like the last line. True sharing of the self is so important in a relationship as your work so gracefully states.....Sara
