A Moment
We had a moment
Not a bad moment
Thank goodness
But a good moment
That would be remembered
When one thought
Of the other
A simple singular moment
That passed
As quickly as it came
But yet
There was more said
More expressed
Then in a span of a lifetime
There was an understanding
Of the other
It was a simple
But clear message
That revealed
What couldn't be put into words
It was a comfort
That we didn't know how to give
Sometimes
The simplest
Moments shared with someone
Are the most special.
