This uneternal universe be gone A metaphor of what is true and real The essence of all things before was done Before our hurt, a cure was there to heal Five daylights lag behind of nature came Less noble man, his honor turned to gross But grace did cause the saving of the same That found us long before that we were lost For what a perfect universe be worth? When we see not by such a fallen race The soul made centre of this sinful earth Forfeit to gain the sovereign prize of grace Before the world God has a plan to save For fallen men his perfect Son he gave
