A Message to This Body

I can see you, cycling through the pain.

It's overlapping now, you know yourself, including before the tears fall as rain.

The tension, your tight back and strained Warning Signals are flaring...

Clenching your jaw while standing in the mirror, staring.

Participating in helping and raising others, requires constant transformation of yourself.

This body, it feels it... Stiff like a doll on a shelf.

The experiences, they took a toll and the mind is so powerful.

The Mind helped you push through and now your bodies whispers are screams, your soul empty but so full.

Rest, my dear body... Your timelines have overlap.

See clearly, dear Mind... Come home and free yourself from the trap.

Of fighting or running, the endless quest for answers...

Listen to what you know, slow down and you'll travel faster.

I hear you. Sending LOVE. Mothers are strong. Women are strong. You are never alone. Even when you at your lowest, there are like minds standing with you. You will have highs, you will have lows, you will pull through the worst of it all for the one/s you love most. You will survive. And there will be Love, for you from you first.

Yes, sometimes we have to talk to ourselves about taking care of ourselves. If only, people would pay attention to what the body is trying to say. Thank you for sharing this one and congratulations on being featured on Home Page. Way to go. Sara K
