A Memoir of Pretentious Love

Never have I imagined
I'd get lost in a labyrinth
In search for first attempt
I got hypnotized
I didn't realize
You feed me lies
Never have I imagined
Our story will not last

I can't help but wonder
Why your love has to wander
You left mine heart in a jiffy
Like your path and mine never crossed
The reality I tried to accept
You sow nothing but impurities
Am attached but nay!
Never will I let me be caged
Our first 30 days
Should have been marked today
But here I abide
To our first and last goodbye
Adieu to brief memoirs
Your name and mine shared
Rest assured, my little and poor heart
I have saved you enough
Unto day of raining cats and dogs
'Cause never have I imagined
Your love knows no divine
