A Melody Plays
A melody plays, clear and bright,
In the calm of the night.
Each note, a gentle sound,
In its rhythm, love is found.
The tune is soft, the tune is sweet,
A song of love, complete.
It plays on, pure and true,
A simple song, for me and you.
With each beat and every rhyme,
Love's song plays in time.
In the day and in the night,
It's our song of delight.
