Perseverance momentary, as priorities fluctuate Unread messages, precede books of progress Lines written, to be forgotten Evasive understanding, denies marks Attempts to absorb, futile efforts. Fading smiles, magnify reality The fear of the probable, punctuated by the expected Vocal lies, temporarily disengages the silence of truth An aching head, webbed in despair A mediocre mistake, extends a lengthy journey.
