A Maze of Smiles
Life to me is an ever turning maze.
Where walls pop up like sadness.
And getting around them takes thought
and time.
Some passage ways are as clear as
the moon on clear spring night.
Other ones are like trying to brighten the ocean
by candlelight.
So when the roads are open and the
smiles and laughter are right,
hold close these times because the next
turn could be into a corner with no light.
