A Man Walks On the Field of Good Harvest

although a man walks on the field of abundance
it saddens him because these good crops won’t do
any good for him

the leaves go
roll on the field
carried by the wind with no memories
the man goes
stepping on the leaves as well
with no memories worth keeping

abundance of the field won’t be a sign
for the road ahead, if it’s a light or a shadow
to the man who has many rivers to cross

the field of abundance is not a hope
or a way leading to a promised tomorrow
to the man who has many mountains to go over

now the man is standing both arms stretched open in the evening glow
became an abandoned scarecrow in the middle of a forgotten field
