A Man Named Lee

There once was a man named Lee,
Who was called General Lee
His full name was Robert E. Lee
He was from the South
He was very Southerly

When the big fight broke out,
You could always count on Lee
To answer the call of his fellow brothers
He fought for the South
Very gentlemanly

When he lead, everyone followed
For you see, there was no one better then Lee
A rough and tough, till the very end
We Southerns will always miss you, General Lee.
