A Man Named Jesus

I had a peaceful journey,
   Before I walked the earth,
I felt a warm presence,
   Before my feeble birth,

That held me in the womb,
And took me in His hands.
Then He softly whispered,
“One day you’ll be a man.”

He held me so tightly,
   Before my earthly name.
There was no suffering momma,
‘Cause a man named Jesus came.

This does have the same tone as "My Precious Angel". Thank you for sharing this and for your thoughtful words. I am truly grateful and encouraged. I am looking forward to reading more of your work. What a wonderful way to be able to use your gift, to help others find comfort in their time of sorrow. Thanks again, Robin
