A Man, Most Newtonic

Here's to the fellow we hold dear, his blood, it was said, teutonic. He holed up in County Lincolnshire to escape the plague (bubonic). 'Twas there an apple fell on his head and gave him a wonderful notion. Before he even went to bed, he wrote down the laws of motion.

Thanks Sara! When you read my history poems, always remember I flunked history.

Man oh man did you fall down a Newton-filled muse well. I like each Newton-ditty but wish I had started at the beginning. I've done this once already and see no choice other than doing it again: You've looked at Newton from all sides now and still somehow its Newton poem potential you recall, you really don't know Newton at all. Such Fun, David. I love fun, needed some of that. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Haha, thanks CayCay. I don't know how the Newton-bug got entrenched in my brain. Maybe, because as a kid I admired him.
