A Mama's Heart

My mama's heart is heavy greaving
Ugly sobs are not leaving
Heavy sighs
Silent cries
Daily prayers to sustain
Are all that are keeping me sane
Grateful that family and friends
To my bleeding heart tends
Surviving 
but not thriving
But God is carrying me
thanks to my ongoing plea
