A Lucky Escape

I saw this on a wildlife program where a lion pride had chased a giraffe and he managed to out run them but one solitary lion was waiting up ahead and jumped out, the giraffe lashed out with his long leg and sent the lion sprawling. It made my day.

a fleeing giraffe 
hungry lion pride give chase ~
kicks out and escapes

Thanks Maria, I seen it ages ago on tv and wondered if it was on YouTube and bingo.it was,I only added it this morning. Yes, love it when they get away, I bet that lioness had a headache . Tom.

Thanks Arturo, it was wonderful to see, he'd out run the main pride and they had channeled him towards the lone lion who jumped out and got a well placed kick from the giraffe. Tom
