A Lowly State

I’ve been at a such low place, it’s hard to seek his face. My faith has been put to the test, There is a heavy load on my chest. What am I to do when I feel hope has run its course? Shall I hang my head down with much remorse? I heard the answer to the question, it was a still small sound. I looked but there was no one around. He spoke to my spirit in my lowly state, Seeing how much was on my plate. Saying, always have faith, no matter what, Because it will see you through when you're down in a rut. Alexis Y. 08/26/2021

Faith is everything dear Alexis, your faith shines with your beautiful poems that you post - He will help you out of this rut, I could feel from your last 2 or 3 poems you were not a happy chappy - hope all comes right soon, writers block can be depressing. Alexis, I have a problem with my soupmail - I receive mail but my last 2 soupmails I sent were not received. did you receive a soupmail from me? Hugs/blessings Jennifer.

If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can do anything. Hugs

This is a very vivid poem, Alexis, and I apologize if you were suffering grief or remorse at the same moment. It's good to hear that you've been able to move on with your faith in the face of adversity.
