A Lovers Pain
For I feel my heart breaking
every careless day we see
Here I am standing
but you show no care for me
I have heard the words of progress
but seen no action done
My ears are growing tired now
These lies are no longer fun
I know I deserve better
and so why do I stay?
This torture my heart is feeling
telling me to find a better way
But love is not rational
so here I remain
Another day might start hopeful
by the night there’s only pain
