A Lovely Year

January poetry brought me from the dead February it took my hand, never misled In mid March I had many adventures to tread April I started to use ink instead of lead May was a new dawn and my heart no longer bled In june rhymes saved me by not leaving words unsaid July is special,it's when my thoughts and words wed In August my past wanted my pen, i saw red September I listened to all that my muse said In October negative energy just fled November I looked for the rainbow up ahead It’s December and words and rhymes dance in my head 1-13-17 Contest: 12 By 12 Monorhyme Sponsor: John Hamilton

Wow Alexis, this was fantastic and what a great way to approach a contest that is asking for twelve lines, using the months of the year. I wish I had thought of that.
