A Lovely Breath
Bridge of lavender
floating in the sky;
grape hyacinth tunnels
adorning a drive.
Flowers trained to shield
from the sun’s rays;
perfumed eye candy.
I sit on a bench
gaze and breathe...
Trellised blossoms
in summer splendor,
engulf my senses and
quickly render
floral visions
where I enter
realms of fantasy.
I bask in the luscious
periwinkle warmth
of Gaia’s heartbeat;
my soul absorbs
her pastel
tranquility.
