Notes About The Poem

A Love Story

I loved
She laughed
I cried
She mocked my advances
I lowered my head in shame
She walked out of my life forever
I died

If not for the pic, I would have cried too...thank you for including it then. Another 7. Such incredible talent. Why are you not posting lately? Happy to see your avatar today, though. :)

The death of the heart. I know what that feels like, but I am still hangin' on and tomorrow is a new day... Great expression in so few lines. Nice work, Arthur!

Wow the picture is worth a thousand words! The kind of pain too many can understand, but a person like the one you describe, she doesn't seem worth it...hugs, Rhonda
