A Love Story

I wrote a book. a love story. in pages few. about me and you. thoughts and dreams. hopes and fears. of good days, and sad. some smiles and tears. times little journeys, marked by seasons. echoes of passions, worries without reasons, expectations that rise, and such defeats, darkness and sleep, a dream that repeats. first step of our child, last breath of mother. beginning of an age, end of another. I left the story on the mantle piece, under the painting, so to find with ease, read it and hold it close to your heart. so I can hear it beat, and of you be a part. some rhyme, no attempt at syllable count! thought are more important! If you feel my thoughts, I have done it justice.

What a beautiful love story! These heart-felt stories don't need syllable-count, or correct rhyming. Love doesn't follow any rules - You have done complete justice to this exceptional piece. To my Faves, Dear Poet, so I can read it many times.
