A Lost Love
i stand hovered over her
watching her waste away
searching high and low
for the right things to say
it was never my intention
to make her feel uncomfortable in any way
or make her feel she had to pay
I'm standing here watching you die
as a tear runs down my Cheek
i slowly start to cry
I'm holding your hand
as your life drifts away
please don't go i need u now in the worst way
her vital signs start to weaken
for it is her life that is being taken
i can't talk
i can't walk
i can feel my heart falling to the ground
as i hear a voice say
"you must let go,lay her hand down"
