A Look Within

The moon is half a smile Peeking through the trees shedding. The world dwells on small things And smaller things. Grief rearranges my guts till i can't feel anymore. Oh, i love it all, The vast nothingness and the darkness that threatens it. Someone put diamonds in the sky above. I have been finding patterns and shifting shapes Listening to cries of hysteria Sitting on the bylines, ghostly shadows all around, A deep sigh after a long day. Here i rest, here i think, Here i lose my mind, here i run wild, Here are none and here I am. I am losing focus, I have lost count, Trees still shedding, I must go to sleep.
