A Lonely Heart

i think about you so much every morning
i told her everything would be ok
i was wrong,i was scared all those times.
i didn't want to show it
you gave the strength, you was happy with
me.
even though our hearts will change forever
even though were alone.
along the way you and i will wait forever

should we wait for the future to arrive
even so our future is far away,i want me and you
to be happy

its just like a tear drop falling on a flower or when
the sun is getting ready to rise down
but our path will never change
even though were so far away,i will always be there
for you
but when time passes over us,will you wait for me
even though i will have to leave you.

the choices we make is hard, saying goodbye is the
thing to do.
i know were torn apart,we will be together again
and i will tell you how i feel about

I think the "tear drop falling on a flower" conveys a powerful emotion, David. But I hope you do not have to wait very long before you and your love are "together again." Be sure to speak up and tell her how you feel. Women are so influenced by words and many of the men I have known lack the ability or courage to express their feelings. Very heartfelt write! Love, Carolyn
