A Little Riddle
Ah yes, ‘tis such a pleasure
to those who know the lack of it it.
A relief beyond measure,
to those who have the knack of it.
It’s timing can often be hilarious,
though company may frown on it,
because it’s considered nefarious,
And the uppity class is down on it.
An action most taken for granted,
It’s importance unheeded.
It’s social acceptance is slanted,
though medically needed.
Just one hint and we’re back to the start
In public it’s worse than a slurp,
Now don’t put the horse after the cart,
I’m talking about a … burp.
