A Little Message
I have listened to the stories of your misery
While existing in the realms of this epidemy
Living behind shadows that you keep concealed
So you're constantly reminded of the pain you feel
Have people disrespected you behind your back
Are you constantly subjected to their verbal attacks
Does no one understand you when you're at home
Do you feel you're confused and completely alone
If you've never had no one you could call a friend
Well then here's a little message I want to send
Please don't let this world change a solitary thing
Or tarnish any gifts that your spirit has to bring
You may never fit in molds of the majority
So be proud you always kept your individuality
I wrote this poem for anyone that's felt like you
So you know I understand the world we view
