A Little Girl Without a Doll

Torn party dress
Grass stained knees
Dirt under nails
A bruise on her shin
Missing a front tooth grinning

"I traded my doll for a skateboard"

Smiling mum sighs "the beginning"

Such a vivid picture you've painted---so much more beautiful than the girl who plays with her Barbie doll!! ~ Gershon
