A line for those that cannot read

Do the dogs in the sky enjoy bones?
Do the people enjoy their pets clones?
While the original is rested in a blanket.
Your baby was once soft,
Now covered in dirt and pronounced differently.
When I sang your song it hit me,
I wont have fur on my bed.

Maybe one day we’ll meet again.
I will recognise the barks for eternity.

Maybe one day I wont strain,
And my love will be of solidity.
